Quick answer
Record a sale lets owners, admins and front desk sell a drop-in, pack or membership to a client in person. Record money you took at the desk, or send the client a link so they pay by card online. Discount codes your owner or admin created can be applied to the sale.
Before you begin
Use an owner, admin or front-desk account; instructors can't record sales.
Create the packs, memberships or paid classes you sell. Packs and memberships need Starter or above.
Connect Stripe before using Pay online, and create any discount codes you plan to use.
You'll know it worked when
The sale appears in Sales with the method, any discount and a receipt.
The pack credits or membership appear on the client's record.
A Pay online payment shows as paid and the membership renews with the saved card.

Record a sale at the desk
- 1
Choose + Add → Record a sale, or Record sale on the client's record.
- 2
Pick or add the client, then choose Drop-in, Pack or Membership and the item. A drop-in books the client into one paid class; choose how they paid: cash, external card terminal or other.
- 3
If the client has a discount code, enter it and choose Apply. The new total shows before anything is recorded.
- 4
For a pack or membership, Payment starts on Pay online. To record money you already took, choose Already paid, then the method: cash, external card terminal, bank transfer or other, with an optional reference. Tick I confirm any payment due was received outside Junocal.
- 5
For a pack or membership recorded later, use Change sale time. For a drop-in, choose whether to email a booking confirmation. Then record the sale.
Let the client pay online
For a pack or membership, keep Pay online selected. Junocal shows a QR code to scan, Copy link and Email it to them. The client pays by card at your online checkout, into your own Stripe account.
Any discount code you applied is already filled in. The link doesn't contain the client's name or email.
A pack is added to the client's account after payment. A membership paid this way saves their card and renews automatically.
Use discount codes at the desk
Owners and admins create codes in Discount codes. Front desk can apply them but can't change prices.
Codes that customers enter, with a percentage or fixed amount off, work in Record a sale. Automatic promotions and extra pack credit codes only work at online checkout, and a code can't take the price below the minimum.
To make a code for one item, such as an in-studio membership price, tick its kind and choose the item under Only these items. The limit applies online and at the desk.
The sale, the Sales panel and the receipt show the discount and the code.
Memberships sold at the desk
A membership recorded as Already paid covers one period, for example 30 days. No card is charged and renewals are not set up. Record a sale shows this before you record it.
When the period ends, the membership shows as Ended in Sales and the client's purchases, drops out of the active member count and exports with the Ended status. Complimentary memberships and one-time passes end the same way.
To continue, record a new sale for the next period, or choose Pay online so the membership renews by card.
Troubleshooting
Start with the symptom that matches what you can see. Check the existing record before repeating a booking, payment or import.
