Mindbody
Marketplace-dependent, franchise chains.
Twelve studio booking and management platforms compared on eight structural dimensions — starting price, contract terms, pick-a-spot tier, marketplace commission, ownership, free trial, best-fit shape. Use it to find the right tool by structural criteria rather than aggregate ratings. Verified 28 August 2026.
Prices come from official public pages where available. Mariana Tek, TeamUp and several higher tiers require a current quote; we label them that way instead of repeating old third-party ranges.
The underlying dataset is licensed under CC BY 4.0. It was assembled by manually checking official vendor pages; unknown and quote-led fields are not estimated.
Junocal leads for independent class-based studios on affordable flat pricing, direct payments and month-to-month terms. Every other row is the closest published equivalent—when pricing is sales-call-gated, we say “custom quote” instead of presenting a stale estimate as current.

We check each vendor's official pricing, plan and product pages by hand. The downloadable CSV records the public starting price, pricing model, contract wording, pick-a-spot availability, marketplace model, trial and the operating shape the product is built around.
A blank price is deliberate: it means the vendor currently asks buyers to request a quote. We do not fill those cells with an old blog estimate. “Best for” is Junocal's editorial assessment; the pricing and plan fields are tied to the primary pages listed below. Junocal is designed for independent class-based studios; Mindbody suits some marketplace-dependent or franchise operations; Mariana Tek targets multi-location boutique fitness; and OfferingTree targets solo operators. Verify the workflows you need and use current written terms rather than aggregate ratings.
Momence has a $0 Basic tier but publishes 5% operator and 4% client fees plus processing. Junocal starts at $15/month with no booking-volume fee. Vagaro lists $30/month for one bookable calendar, currently advertised at $23.99, with $10 per added calendar. OfferingTree Essentials is $35 monthly plus 2.9% and processing fees. The cheapest subscription is not always the lowest total cost, so model annual sales and staff count.
Junocal includes pick-a-spot on its $15 Starter tier. Walla includes Book-a-Spot on Core at $320/month per location. Mariana Tek supports equipment selection but uses custom pricing. Mindbody lists Client Pick-a-Spot on Accelerate rather than Starter and does not publish Accelerate's standalone price. Ask every vendor to demonstrate the client flow on the exact tier in the quote.
Junocal is month-to-month. Vagaro says customers can cancel at any time. Arketa says plans renew month to month unless an annual plan is chosen, and WellnessLiving publishes both monthly and annual prices. Walla says it offers different term lengths. For Mindbody, Mariana Tek, Glofox and other quote-led plans, use the contract term, renewal date and notice window in the written order form rather than a third-party generalisation.
We compare the lowest relevant public plan, pricing model, contract wording, pick-a-spot availability, marketplace model and best-fit operating shape. Public prices were checked on official vendor pages; quote-led prices and terms are labelled as such. Editorial fit assessments are separated from vendor-published facts, and the underlying comparison can be downloaded as CSV.
