the whole thing, end to end

What Junocal actually does

A studio is really three jobs at once: the owner building and running it, the instructor in the room, and the client trying to book a class. Junocal is the one place all three meet — with the payments and email humming away underneath. Here's the whole picture, in the order a studio actually touches it.

For owners and front desk

This is where the studio gets built, and where the day gets run. You set the schedule, the prices and the policies once — then the bookings, payments, no-shows and the quietly important stuff (chasing a failed card, covering a sick instructor, keeping memberships ticking over) get handled without you babysitting any of it.

Class, course, private, hybrid scheduling

Group classes, one-off workshops, eight-week courses, 1:1 privates, duets, trios, plus hybrid in-person + online — all on one calendar.

Appointments — 1:1, duets, trios, quartets

Five service types out of the box (group, private, duet, trio, quartet) with per-service deposit policies, equipment requirements, and custom durations. Included on every plan, from $15, not gated behind a studio tier.

Floor plan editor

Drag your equipment into a layout that matches the room. Use a different layout per class type. If a reformer breaks, mark it unavailable and bookings shift to the next open spot.

Term-based courses

Sell a multi-week block as one course, bought up front. Makeup credits, swaps when someone misses a week, and refunds with a doctor's note all come built in.

Hybrid in-person + online

Set in-room capacity and online capacity independently per class. In-person and online counted separately, so neither overbooks. The meeting link goes out with the booking confirmation.

Memberships and class packs

Memberships auto-renew, packs auto-deduct, and members can use packs too. Clients pause their own membership when they need to.

Automated email sequences

A welcome email, a 24-hour class reminder (with in-person or online details), a win-back nudge for clients who haven't booked in three weeks, a renewal reminder a week before a membership renews, and failed-payment recovery with a secure one-tap link to update the card.

Reviews — opt-in, moderated

Prompts the client 2h after class. Private by default. Toggle each review public from your dashboard, and every change is logged. Storefront shows aggregate average + the reviews you publish.

Lead capture + admin queue

"Not ready to book?" form on every storefront page. Captures motivation and where they came from. Admin queue with new → contacted → converted | lost.

Cover images

16:9 hero image for the studio, plus optional per-class-type covers. Renders above the schedule, on every class card, and full-width on class detail.

Multi-location storefront filter

Storefront schedule filters by room or location when you have more than one. An "Online" filter surfaces hybrid + virtual-only classes.

Cancellation policies, four ways

When someone cancels late, you choose what happens: lose the credit, charge a fee, both, or neither — set per pack and per membership. Sensible defaults for your region, ready to go.

Substitute pool

Tag instructors as available subs. One-click substitution with auto-generated client notification (photo + bio).

Intake form builder

Questions that adapt to each answer, injury capture (left or right side), e-signature waivers, per-service forms, and a re-sign prompt every 12 months when something changes.

Per-service configuration

Each service has its own price, deposit policy, capacity, intake form, cancellation rule, and pick-a-spot toggle.

Reporting on revenue, attendance and retention

Weekly and monthly views: how full your classes are, how often people no-show, how busy each instructor is, and how many members stay or cancel.

Failed-payment recovery

When a membership payment fails, the client gets a one-tap link to update their card. You're alerted after 3 failures, and it recovers automatically once payment lands.

One-click CSV export

Clients, bookings, payments, intake forms, attendance. Always free. Always yours. No fee on exit.

For instructors

Your instructors don't want a back office. They want today's class on their phone: who's coming, who's carrying an injury, who's new this week, and a spot for everyone. One tap to check people in — even when the studio wifi drops. That's the whole job, and it fits in a pocket.

Day-of class roster

Each booked client with photo, intake alerts (in priority order), recent sessions, and apparatus history.

Tap-to-check-in

Big buttons, instant response, works even without a signal. Mark attended, no-show, or late in one tap.

Pick-a-spot view per class

Live floor plan showing who's where. Drag a client to a different spot. Mark a reformer clean or out of action.

Session notes

Per-client notes after class, especially useful for classical and private-led studios. Visible on the day-of roster next time.

Personal iCal feed

Subscribe your Google or Apple calendar to your Junocal schedule. One-tap copy of the secret URL.

For clients

Booking should take thirty seconds and feel like your studio, not ours. A client finds the class, picks their spot, pays, and signs whatever they need to — all on their phone, with no app to download and no password to forget. It's the first impression of your brand, so it carries your name, not Junocal's.

Book in-person or online

Hybrid classes show separate buttons, each with its own spot count. Online attendees get the meeting link in the booking confirmation and the 24h reminder.

Course enrollment

Term-based courses listed in a public catalog grouped by term. One enrollment covers every session in the block. One upfront payment.

Post-class reviews

One-tap star rating two hours after class, with optional comment. Private until the studio publishes it.

Smart waitlist + 24-hour reminders

When a spot opens up early, the next person in line is booked automatically. When it opens last-minute, everyone on the waitlist gets an alert and the first to tap gets the spot. Plus a 24-hour reminder with in-person or online details.

Self-serve membership pause

Pause from the client's own account with a reason and an end date. Auto-resume. Allowance set per tier.

One-tap email login (no password)

Clients sign in with a one-tap link sent to their email — no password to remember. The link expires after 24 hours, with an optional 30-day “remember this device” after the first sign-in.

Own-data export

Clients can download their own booking and payment history at any time, in CSV. Same data, same one click.
