Who it is for

For studios, gyms, clubs and independent instructors

The product stays the same; the services, schedule and payment options adapt to the way your business operates.

Your business stays yours.

Your brand

Clients book through your branded page, not a consumer marketplace listing.

Your money

Connect your own Stripe account. Junocal does not hold funds or add a processing markup.

Your data

Export clients, bookings and revenue as CSV whenever you need a copy.

Migration

Start with the data you can export

An instructor helping clients during a studio session.

What can move depends on your current tool and the files it gives you. Junocal can import a standard client CSV and has a guided workflow for compatible Mindbody exports.

We will confirm the supported fields before you switch. Anything that does not map cleanly may need to be recreated or kept as an archive in your old system.

  1. 01

    Check your export

Tell us which tool you use and what it can export. We'll confirm which files and fields Junocal supports.

  2. 02

    Preview supported data

Import compatible files and review the mapping before saving anything to your studio.

  3. 03

    Plan any gaps

Identify what needs to be recreated or archived, then choose a switch date that works for your team.

Common questions

Questions

How long does setup take?

You can publish a first class or appointment in a few minutes, then add memberships, forms, staff and branding when you are ready. Migration help is included during your first 30 days: we review a sample export, map supported fields and flag exceptions before agreeing the import scope and cutover timing.

Can I run classes and appointments in the same account?

Yes. Group classes, fixed courses and capacity-one appointments share one calendar and booking page. Classes can have their own capacity, price, packs, memberships and waitlist; paid appointments are booked individually at the full configured price. Forms can be requested after booking or enrolment. Junocal does not currently support partial appointment deposits or pack and membership redemption against private appointments.

Can I run hybrid in-person and online classes?

Yes. Set a class to hybrid and give it an in-room capacity and an online capacity. The booking page then shows separate "Book in-person" and "Book online" buttons, each with its own count. Online attendees get the meeting link in their booking confirmation and the 24-hour reminder; in-room attendees see the spot they picked. Each count is enforced on its own, so neither in-person nor online can overbook.

Do term-based courses run as proper cohorts, not recurring classes?

Yes. A course is its own thing, not a recurring class with a label on it. It has a start date, end date, fixed weekly slot, session count, capacity, one upfront price, and a refund policy you choose (no refund, medical-only, pro-rata, or full-minus-fee). Publish it once and Junocal creates each weekly session for you. One enrolment tracks attendance across the dated sessions. Junocal does not currently automate course makeup credits, instalments or swaps.

How do reviews work?

Every confirmed booking gets a one-tap review prompt two hours after class. Reviews land in your dashboard as private by default — you toggle each one to public when you're happy with it. The aggregate average and your published reviews render on the storefront. You stay in control, so the marketplace-style "every review goes live" pattern doesn't apply.

Do you handle the client emails I'd otherwise send myself?

Yes, the operational ones. 24-hour class reminders fire automatically (in-room attendees get the room and instructor, online attendees get the meeting link). A welcome email lands 24 hours after a new client signs up if they haven't booked yet. A win-back email reaches dormant clients who haven't booked in 21 days. Membership renewal nudges send seven days before period-end, and failed-payment emails carry the Stripe hosted-invoice link so clients can update a card in one tap. Mailchimp and Klaviyo integration is still there if you want richer marketing campaigns on top.

What payment processor do you use?

Stripe Connect Standard. You own your Stripe account directly and pay Stripe's standard rates. Junocal never touches your money, never holds funds, never marks up your processing.

Do you take a commission on bookings?

No. Junocal is a flat monthly subscription. We don't take a percentage of anything and we don't run a consumer marketplace.

What if I want to cancel?

One click in settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Your data is downloadable as CSV any time. No exit fee, no retention call.

How do I switch from Mindbody, Momence, Mariana Tek, Walla, or Acuity?

Migration help is included during your first 30 days. We start with a sample source export, map the fields it contains, run a dry import and flag exceptions before cutover. Importable fields and timing depend on the source data, and saved payment credentials require a separate portability check.

Who owns Junocal?

Junocal is independent, founded and run by Sharon Onyinye. No outside investors with terms that would change how we treat customers.

What kinds of businesses use Junocal?

Junocal works for independent studios, class-led gyms, sports clubs, schools, coaches and instructors. It fits businesses that schedule classes, courses or appointments and sell drop-ins, packs or memberships.

Are instructors or clients capped?

Unlimited clients on every plan. Instructor seats are up to 5 on Starter and unlimited on Studio and Growth. Rooms are up to 10 on Starter and unlimited on Studio and Growth. Multi-location is built in from Studio — up to 5 locations on Studio, up to 10 on Growth, with location-aware memberships and cross-location reporting. Running more than ten locations? Get in touch so we can check whether Junocal is a good fit.

Where can I see the full features list?

On the features page. Every feature in the product, grouped by who uses it — owners and front desk, instructors, and clients.
