Vagaro is salon-shaped, classes came later
Vagaro started in 2009 as appointment-booking for salons and spas. Class-based scheduling, packs, memberships and waitlists were added later, and the UX shows it — you set up a class the way you'd set up a salon service, then add a headcount on top. Studios that grow beyond 1-2 group classes a day often hit friction with reordering, sub-instructor management, and pack-versus-membership logic that a class-first tool takes in stride.
