Vagaro is salon-shaped, classes are bolted on
Vagaro started in 2009 as appointment-booking for salons and spas. Class-based scheduling, packs, memberships and waitlists were added later, and the UX shows it — class capacity is treated as a service modifier rather than a first-class entity. Studios that grow beyond 1-2 group classes a day often hit friction with reordering, sub-instructor management, and pack-versus-membership logic that a class-first tool handles natively.
