Quick answer
An appointment series reserves individual visits for the same service and practitioner. Review every date before confirming: a weekly availability pattern by itself does not reserve those dates. Clients can also use Book again for a single follow-up.
Before you begin
Create an active appointment service with an assigned practitioner.
Set working hours, exceptions and any required room.
Choose the intended client and distinguish staff complimentary booking from customer checkout.
You'll know it worked when
Every reviewed visit has the intended local date and practitioner.
The final result shows all intended bookings, not just a date preview.
Any required customer payment is confirmed once on the receipt.

Review a staff-created series
- 1
Open the normal appointment booking flow from Schedule or the client record and choose the client, service and practitioner.
- 2
Choose the first date and time, then the series option, with 2–8 visits weekly or every two weeks.
- 3
Review every proposed date. Change the start time or visit count if a room, practitioner, booking-window or clock-change conflict is shown.
- 4
Confirm only when the complete series is available, then open its record and verify each visit.
Let clients book multiple visits
In the customer appointment flow, review the repeat dates and the payment choices actually offered for that service. A supported benefit must cover the whole proposed series under the checks shown; future renewals cannot be assumed. Where payment is needed, the flow uses a shared checkout for the reviewed visits.
Required forms, consent, attendance mode and the quoted price still matter for a series. Some pricing or benefit configurations can limit which repeat-booking choices are offered. Use a single appointment if the current booking flow cannot support the intended series.
A payment hold is not a completed booking. Finish the checkout and confirm the receipt before asking a client to pay again. Expired or released checkout holds must not be treated as reserved appointments.
Rebook or change existing visits
Clients can choose Book again from their portal to start a new appointment using the previous service as a starting point. Staff can use next-visit shortcuts from the client workflow. Check current dates, practitioner availability, prices and benefits on every new booking.
The series record shows its individual visits and available cancellation controls. Review which future visits are affected before cancelling. A cancellation is not automatically a payment refund: inspect the original payment and normal refund controls separately.
A series follows local studio time across ordinary daylight-saving changes. If a selected local time is missing or ambiguous when clocks change, choose another time rather than assuming Junocal shifts it for you.
Troubleshooting
Start with the symptom that matches what you can see. Check the existing record before repeating a booking, payment or import.
One date in the series is unavailable
Check these first
Check practitioner and room conflicts, preparation time and booking window.
Check exceptions and daylight-saving warnings on that date.
Next step: Change the series time or length and review every date again. Do not assume the other dates were booked when the full proposal failed.
A benefit or repeat option is not offered
Check these first
Check the actual service configuration and choices offered by checkout.
Check current benefit coverage, expiry and enough eligible visits for the series.
Next step: Use a supported checkout choice or book individual visits. Do not promise future membership renewals or manually transfer balances to force eligibility.
Checkout was interrupted after submitting payment
Check these first
Open the existing checkout or receipt link again.
Check the original sale and booking status before starting another attempt.
Next step: Recover the existing attempt and confirm its outcome. Ask support for an unresolved payment rather than creating a duplicate series and charge.
Answers before you get stuck
Does setting weekly appointment availability book a regular client?
No. Availability defines possible times. A series creates individual reservations only after the dates are reviewed and confirmed.
Can Juno book the series for me?
Juno currently has no appointment-series action. Use the normal appointment booking flow and review every date there.
