Create and run a term-based course

Create a Junocal course with a fixed series of sessions, set enrolment details and manage the cohort through the term.

The short version

Create a course when clients enrol into a defined series rather than booking each class independently. Configure the cohort, dated sessions, price and enrolment information, then preview the complete course before publishing.

When to use a course

  • Use a course for a beginner block, teacher-training cohort or workshop series with a defined start and end.

  • Use ordinary recurring classes when clients should choose individual dates independently.

  • Explain attendance, missed-session and refund expectations before enrolment.

  • Keep cohort capacity separate from the capacity of unrelated drop-in classes.

Build the course

  1. 1

Open Courses and choose New course.

  2. 2

Add the public title, description, enrolment price and cohort capacity.

  3. 3

Create or review every dated session in the course schedule.

  4. 4

Assign instructors, locations and any required intake form or policy.

  5. 5

Preview the public course page and confirm that the full commitment is clear before publishing.

Manage the live cohort

Use the course record to see enrolment and the dated schedule. Use the individual session when attendance, instructor or room information differs on a particular date. Communicate a schedule change clearly to the whole affected cohort.

For a refund or exceptional withdrawal, start from the enrolment or original sale so the amount and course relationship are visible before any financial action.

common questions

Answers before you get stuck

Should a six-week beginner block be a course or six classes?

Use a course when clients enrol into the full six-week cohort as one product. Use separate classes when each date should be independently bookable.

Can one course session have a different instructor?

Yes. Manage the dated session when one occurrence needs a different instructor, room or operational detail while remaining part of the same course.
