More ways to run your studio in Junocal

Short answer

This release brings more of your studio’s booking rules into Junocal: separate introductory allowances, member prices, class prerequisites and membership agreements, alongside room hire, equipment rentals and party reservations. It also gives appointments and rentals clearer date and time selection.

An introductory offer includes two different classes. A member gets a lower price for a private session. An experienced visitor needs approval before joining a higher-level pole class. A birthday group wants the studio on Saturday afternoon.

Those are ordinary studio situations, but each needs more than a name and a price on a calendar. This release gives you more control over who can book, what they receive and how your space is used.

Give introductory offers the right limits

A two-credit pack does not always describe your offer. If you promise one introductory pole class and one supplemental class, a new client should not accidentally spend both credits on the same thing.

You can configure separate allowances, select the classes each covers and choose first-visit or first-purchase eligibility. When an eligible cancellation returns a credit, it returns to the allowance it came from. Staff can also record a reasoned, one-use exception when a customer’s situation needs it.

Start with the offer itself: who it is for, what it includes and when it expires. Our guide to studio intro offers walks through those decisions.

Give members benefits beyond class credits

Member prices can apply to classes, appointments, courses, products, rentals and parties. Set a percentage reduction, an amount off or a fixed member price for the services you choose.

For example, your membership might include a reduced private-session price and a lower room-hire rate. An eligible, verified active member receives the best applicable price; promotions do not stack on top of it. Paying a member price is separate from redeeming a class or appointment credit.

You can also give selected memberships earlier access to class and course bookings. Early access opens the booking window sooner. It does not reserve a place or replace the separate waitlist settings.

Match class bookings to the participant’s progression

Class prerequisites let you use attendance history, instructor approval or a combination of both. You can require all the selected conditions or allow an alternative route.

The check follows the person attending. A parent’s class history does not qualify their child, and a booking contact’s approval does not transfer to a friend. Staff can record equivalent experience and review future bookings when an approval changes.

The instructor still decides what experience is appropriate. Junocal applies the booking rule you configure. Read the pole class prerequisites guide for an example and a setup checklist.

Keep membership terms with the membership

Recurring payment and a membership agreement are different parts of the relationship. Agreement controls bring published terms, explicit acceptance, commitment periods, notice, renewal choices and pause policies into the membership workflow.

Cancellation requests, reviewed exit charges and reasoned adjustments retain a history. When importing an existing agreement, you can keep its original dates rather than treating the import as the start of a new commitment.

Configure the terms your studio actually offers and review the customer’s acceptance journey. The software records and applies those terms; choosing appropriate contract wording remains your responsibility.

Let clients book the room itself

Room rentals give independent practice, rehearsal and other hire their own booking flow. Set the room, opening hours, duration, capacity, turnaround buffers and required booking information.

Availability accounts for other room use, including classes, appointments, parties and closures. Customers choose an available date and time, and rescheduling offers available slots. An empty date provides a route to the next available one.

Keep party quotes, payments and guests together

Party bookings begin with your team preparing a quote. A package can include a base guest count, extra-guest pricing, exclusive resources and a required instructor.

The customer reviews the quote and pays the booking deposit, with the remaining balance tracked separately. Changes to the guest count can produce a revised quote for the customer to accept. Individual guest and guardian forms stay attached to the right person.

Our party booking checklist covers the handoff from enquiry to the day of the event.

Track hired equipment through its return

Equipment rentals add individual units, their components, checkout condition and returns. Partial returns remain visible, while overdue or repair-blocked items affect availability.

Where you collect a refundable security deposit, it is a separate payment with its own record. Staff can keep private condition evidence and document an assessment or deduction. Rental income and refundable security funds remain distinct.

Start with an accurate inventory and a clear return checklist. The booking record is useful only if it reflects what actually left the studio and what came back.

Make the booking page easier to use

Private appointments use calendar-based date selection and available times, with more consistent alignment across the public profile. Navigation work also targets the repeated trips between an offering and the studio’s booking page.

Your public address stays in the familiar format: junocal.com/your-studio.

To start, choose the workflow that currently creates the most follow-up for your team. Configure one real offer, check it as a customer on your phone, then give staff a clear way to handle changes. You can review Junocal’s plans or talk to the team about fitting these workflows into your studio.

a few questions

FAQ

Do I need to turn on all of these features?
No. Configure the offers, eligibility rules, agreements and rental offerings your studio needs. Review each customer journey before making its new settings available to clients.
Can an intro offer include one pole class and one supplemental class?
Yes. Separate allowances let you assign one credit to selected introductory classes and another to selected supplemental classes, alongside your chosen first-visit or first-purchase eligibility rule.
Can customers book parties without speaking to the studio?
The initial party booking is staff-assisted. Your team prepares a quote; the customer can then review it, accept it, pay and manage the guest details through their booking link.
Where can I check Junocal’s subscription plans?
See the pricing page for current subscription details. Your Junocal subscription is separate from any membership agreement your studio offers its clients.
