Meet Juno: your AI studio assistant, built into Junocal
Short answer
Juno is the AI studio assistant built into Junocal. It can answer questions about supported live account information and prepare actions such as scheduling classes, creating offerings and updating attendance. You review and confirm changes before they run. Juno is included with Studio and Growth, with request allowances rather than unlimited use. It is an operator tool for the work around your classes—not a client-facing chatbot or a replacement for your judgement.
The work between classes can be surprisingly fragmented. You check the afternoon roster, look for a room for next week’s workshop, find an instructor and then work out which screen holds the setting you need.
Juno gives that work a conversational starting point inside Junocal. Ask a question about your studio, or describe a supported change. Juno can look up the relevant account information and prepare the next step for you to review.
The important part is the connection to your actual schedule and offerings. You do not need to paste a spreadsheet into a separate chat just to ask what is happening today. And when a request would change something, you stay in control of the decision.
What can Juno help with?
Juno works with a defined set of studio operations. It is useful to think of these in three groups: finding information, preparing the schedule and helping with day-to-day session administration.
Get a clearer picture of the day
You can ask about the supported live schedule, class rosters, waitlists, client bookings, class packs and memberships in your active studio account.
For example:
- “What’s on the schedule today?”
- “Show me the roster and waitlist for Friday’s morning class.”
- “What bookings and active passes does this client have?”
These are example prompts, not reports about a real studio. If several classes or clients match your request, make the name, date or time more specific. Juno should resolve the right record rather than guess which person you mean.
Create offerings and prepare a schedule
Juno can prepare a new class offering, schedule an existing offering as a one-off or recurring series, and help authorised owners or admins create private appointment offerings and set instructor availability for them.
A useful request includes the details you would normally enter in the form: the offering, start date, local time, room, instructor and number of sessions. For example: “Schedule eight Friday sessions of my existing Beginner Flow class at 10am, starting on 2 October, with Maya in Studio A.” Use the names and dates that actually apply to your account.
For appointments, availability means a weekly pattern of bookable hours. It does not create a set of class bookings or guarantee that every time slot will be available. Appointment duration, buffers, other bookings and your booking window still matter.

Eight Friday sessions
4 Sep–23 Oct · 10:00 · Studio A
- Eight sessions, with no room or instructor conflicts.
Handle supported session changes
Juno can prepare changes to class capacity, instructor assignments, attendance and bookings. It can also prepare an email to a confirmed class roster. Check the proposed audience and message before approving it, just as you would when sending a message yourself.
Not every operational action has the same effect. A particularly important distinction: a client booking created through Juno is complimentary. It does not charge a payment card or deduct a pack credit or membership benefit. For a paid booking, use the normal booking and payment workflow.
Similarly, cancelling an individual booking through Juno does not itself refund a card payment. A request to handle payment, refunds or account changes should never be interpreted as completed unless the product explicitly supports it and reports the result.
Ask, review, confirm: how a change happens
Juno’s approval step is part of the workflow, not a small print exception.
- Ask for the outcome. Include enough context to identify the correct offering, class or client.
- Read the prepared action. Check the target, dates, capacity, recipients and any impact or conflict information shown on the confirmation card.
- Confirm if it is right. An authorised operator approves the action before Junocal applies it.
- Check the result. Preparing an action is not the same as completing it. If the request fails or the record has changed, resolve that issue before trying again.
Prepared actions can expire. Junocal also checks relevant account state again when you confirm, so an old preview cannot simply override a newer change. Completed actions are recorded in the audit trail.
This is why a precise instruction is more useful than “sort out my week.” “Move Tuesday’s 6pm class to 6:30pm” still needs the correct date and offering. The review is your chance to catch the difference before clients are affected.
Who can use it, and what can it see?
Juno is an operator tool inside Junocal, not a bot answering visitors on your public booking page. It works within the active studio and the operator’s permissions.
Front-desk staff can use supported day-to-day scheduling, roster, attendance and booking operations. Creating class or appointment offerings and changing appointment availability remain owner/admin operations. Juno does not provide a shortcut around those permissions.
Its tools mask contact details and do not include private client notes. That is a reason to keep sensitive information in its proper workflow—not an invitation to paste private notes, card details or passwords into a conversation. Use only the information needed for the task, and review AI output before relying on it.
Which plans include Juno?
As checked on 13 September 2026:
| Plan | Juno allowance |
|---|---|
| Starter | No ongoing Juno access |
| Studio | 200 requests per studio per month |
| Growth | 1,000 requests per studio per month |
| Eligible trial | 15 requests across the trial |
These are request allowances, not a promise of that many completed tasks: a task can involve follow-up questions. Check the usage shown in Juno and the current plans when choosing your subscription.
Juno and automation solve different problems
Juno helps when you ask. Junocal’s configured automations handle repeatable events such as reminders and other supported client communications.
Keep those jobs distinct. Asking Juno about a waitlist does not configure your waitlist policy. Preparing a roster email is not the same as turning on a recurring reminder. And the dashboard’s Search control is for finding features, settings and help—not for approving an AI action.
For a broader view of where software belongs in the working day, see our guide to AI and automation for Pilates and yoga studios. The practical test is whether a tool helps with a specific piece of work, while leaving you responsible for the decisions that affect your clients.
A good first thing to try
Open Juno in your workspace and start with a read-only question: “What’s on the schedule today?” Compare the answer with your schedule. Then try preparing one straightforward change and read the confirmation card before deciding whether to apply it.
That is the useful starting point: one clear task, the right account context and a change you can inspect. Explore Juno, or read about the recent booking and membership releases to see the other ways Junocal is developing.
FAQ
- What is Juno?
- Juno is Junocal’s built-in AI assistant for studio operators. It uses supported information from the active studio account to answer questions and prepare supported operational changes for review.
- Can Juno change a booking without confirmation?
- No. Supported changes are prepared for an authorised operator to review and confirm. An expired action or a changed underlying record can require a fresh preview.
- Which plans include Juno?
- Studio includes 200 requests per studio per month and Growth includes 1,000. Starter does not include ongoing Juno access. Eligible trial accounts have a 15-request sample allowance for the trial, not 15 requests every day.
- Does Juno charge a client when I ask it to book them?
- No. Juno’s operator-created client bookings are complimentary. They do not charge a card or consume a class pack or membership benefit. Use the ordinary booking and payment tools when payment or credits need to be applied.
- Is Juno the same as Junocal’s reminders and automations?
- No. Juno responds to an operator’s requests. Reminders and other configured automations run from product events and schedules. A conversation with Juno is not a substitute for configuring those workflows.
