Refer a business and track your reward

Share your studio's invitation, understand qualification and see how the subscription discount is applied.

8 min readLast reviewed

Quick answer

An eligible active paid studio can invite a genuinely new, independently owned business. The current offer gives the new studio 50% off its first two paid months and earns the referrer one free base-subscription month after qualification. Annual billing uses the equivalent adjustment described in the referral terms.

Before you begin

  • Use an owner/admin account with an eligible active paid subscription.

  • Invite a genuinely new business that you do not own or manage.

  • Read the current referral terms and the offer attached to the invitation.

You'll know it worked when

  • The referral page shows your studio's own invitation link.

  • The referral and discount status are read as separate stages.

  • The applicable renewal invoice shows the expected single reward when eligible.

Open Refer a business

Create and share an invitation

  1. 1

Open Billing → Refer a business as an owner or admin.

  2. 2

Check that your paid subscription is active and eligible, then create your link if one is not already shown.

  3. 3

Read the referral terms linked from the page and share the invitation with an independently owned business that welcomes it.

  4. 4

Let the recipient know that you may receive a subscription discount. Do not use your link for another business you own or manage.

Explain the new studio's offer

The current invitation gives a genuinely new studio 50% off its first two paid months after the standard 14-day free trial. The introductory discount is applied at its first eligible subscription checkout and cannot be combined with another promotion.

For annual billing, the first annual bill is reduced by half of two months' equivalent price, which is one twelfth of the annual price. This is not 50% off the whole annual subscription. A plan change, cancellation or resubscription does not restart the offer.

The recipient can enter the invitation code on another device or remove it during setup. Removing it starts the standard trial instead. Referrals accepted under earlier offers keep their original terms, so use the offer shown for that particular referral.

Track qualification and discounts

A signup alone does not earn a reward. The new business must make a genuine positive payment and remain on an eligible paid subscription for at least 30 days after that payment. Free or fully discounted invoices do not start that period. Payment failures, refunds, disputes, cancellation or a review can delay or prevent qualification.

Use the referral page to distinguish Awaiting payment, Qualifying and Under review from discounts that are Queued, On an invoice or Used. These are different stages; Juno cannot inspect the account's reward status for you.

A monthly reward covers the base subscription price on one eligible renewal invoice. An annual reward deducts one month's equivalent price at an eligible annual renewal. Taxes and add-ons are excluded. One reward applies per invoice, with further rewards waiting for later eligible invoices; an existing promotion can also defer it.

Rewards are subscription discounts, not cash balances or client credit. Check the linked terms and contact support before ownership or currency changes, account closure, or an unresolved reward review.

Troubleshooting

Start with the symptom that matches what you can see. Check the existing record before repeating a booking, payment or import.

The referral link cannot be created

Check these first

  • Check active paid subscription status and any failed payment or cancellation.

  • Check whether new invitations are currently enabled.

Next step: Resolve the subscription issue shown in Billing and try again. Contact support if an otherwise eligible account still cannot create its link.

A signed-up business has not earned a reward

Check these first

  • Check for a genuine positive first payment and the 30-day qualification period.

  • Check the page for under-review status, cancellation or payment issues.

Next step: Follow the status shown for the referral. A signup or trial by itself is insufficient; ask support about an unresolved review without requesting another business's payment details.

A queued reward is not on the next invoice

Check these first

  • Check whether the invoice is an eligible renewal and already has a promotion or reward.

  • Check monthly versus annual billing and the terms of the original referral.

Next step: Review the actual renewal invoice and discount history. Additional rewards wait for a later eligible invoice; contact support if the recorded status and invoice disagree.

Answers before you get stuck

Will my free month appear as soon as someone signs up?

No. Qualification requires a genuine positive payment, at least 30 eligible paid days and the relevant checks before a reward is issued.

Can I use two rewards on one invoice?

No. One reward applies per eligible invoice. Additional rewards queue, and rewards do not stack with an existing promotion.
