Quick answer
Owners and admins on Studio or Growth can configure a visit reward programme. Progress belongs to each attendee and counts qualifying attended, completed and paid visits after activation. Issued rewards keep their terms when the programme is paused or the studio downgrades.
Before you begin
Use an owner/admin account on Studio or Growth for configuration.
Create the eligible offerings and the intended reward service first.
Decide the threshold and validity before activating new cards.
You'll know it worked when
The saved preview names the intended reward service and expiry period.
Eligible completed, attended and paid visits appear against the correct attendee.
A reward opens its own eligible service without transferring to another family member.

Create a programme
- 1
As an owner or admin, open Settings → Visit rewards.
- 2
Name the programme and choose the class or appointment services whose visits count.
- 3
Set the number of qualifying visits needed, choose one reward service and set how long the reward is valid after it is earned.
- 4
Review the plain-language preview, including the selected service, and choose Activate programme.
Understand qualifying progress
A qualifying visit needs recorded attendance, an ended session and verified completed payment. An early check-in can remain pending until the visit ends; a deposit alone does not establish full payment. Valid paid pack or membership visits must have the required payment evidence for that service date.
Free visits, imported or goodwill benefits, guest passes, course or makeup sessions, no-shows and loyalty reward visits do not earn another reward. Activation is prospective: previous visits are not automatically imported into a new programme.
Clients see their own or their selected family member's progress, pending visits, available rewards and expiry in the portal. One attendee's progress cannot be combined with another's to finish a card.
Redeem and maintain rewards
Use the reward's booking action to open the correct service and attendee. Normal capacity, availability and booking rules still apply. An available reward is not a guaranteed place at a particular time.
Save future terms to change the programme for new cards. Existing cards complete under their original terms. Pausing stops new qualifying visits; previously issued rewards remain valid, including after a plan downgrade, until their own expiry or other recorded adjustment.
Owners and admins can make a reasoned correction from the client's loyalty record. Refunds or attendance corrections can reverse progress. Review the history before adjusting anything: a settled reward may be honoured with a recorded shortfall rather than silently removed.
Troubleshooting
Start with the symptom that matches what you can see. Check the existing record before repeating a booking, payment or import.
A visit is pending or excluded from progress
Check these first
Check session end time, attendance and full payment.
Check the service, programme activation date and excluded visit types.
Next step: Resolve the underlying attendance or payment issue first and allow processing to complete. Use an authorised, reasoned correction only after reviewing the history.
A reward does not appear for a chosen booking
Check these first
Check its beneficiary, exact reward service and expiry.
Check whether it is already reserved, used or withdrawn.
Next step: Open the reward from the correct attendee's portal or client record and choose an available eligible visit. Extras can still require payment.
Changing programme terms did not change an existing card
Check these first
Check the card's original terms and activation date.
Check whether you used Save future terms or paused accrual.
Next step: Existing cards deliberately keep their original promise. Explain those terms to the client rather than assuming new settings apply retrospectively.
Answers before you get stuck
Why has a checked-in visit not earned progress?
The session may not have ended or the payment may still be incomplete. Check the eligible service, attendance, payment evidence and whether the visit occurred after programme activation.
Does pausing delete clients' earned rewards?
No. Pausing stops new accrual. Already issued rewards retain their recorded terms and can be redeemed while valid.
