Add class booking to your Wix website

Put your class timetable, packs and memberships on your Wix site with the Junocal app from the Wix App Market. Setup steps, plans and billing.

Quick answer

Add Junocal from the Wix App Market and choose Create your studio or I already use Junocal. Then add the Junocal booking widget to a page in the Wix Editor and choose what it shows in its Settings. Clients book and pay you through your own Stripe account. If you already use Junocal, your plan stays as it is. Studios that start in Wix get a 14-day free trial, then pay for Junocal through Wix.

Before you begin

  • A Wix site you own or manage, with permission to add apps and edit pages.

  • To connect a studio you already have, the studio owner's Junocal login. Only the owner can connect a Wix site.

  • At least one published class, course or product in Junocal, so the widget has something to show.

  • A connected Stripe account if clients will pay for bookings.

You'll know it worked when

  • On your published Wix site, the widget shows your timetable, not the sample schedule.

  • Choosing a class opens checkout at the right class, date and price.

  • On a phone, the widget fits the screen without sideways scrolling.

  • In Junocal, Integrations → Wix shows your site as connected.

Add Junocal from the Wix App Market

Junocal's Wix app puts your live timetable on any page of your Wix site. Clients choose a class, course or appointment and pay you through your own Stripe account. When you add a class or cancel a session in Junocal, your Wix page shows the change straight away.

  1. 1

Open Junocal: Studio Class Booking in the Wix App Market and select Add to Site, then choose the site where clients should book.

  2. 2

Approve the permissions Wix shows. Junocal asks only to manage its own app on your site. Wix also lists access to your site, business and email details, which it adds to every app; Junocal reads only your site's name and address.

  3. 3

The Junocal page opens in your Wix dashboard. Choose Create your studio for a new Junocal account, or I already use Junocal to connect the studio you have. A junocal.com window opens, where you sign up or sign in with your email or Google.

  4. 4

For a new studio, set it up in that window, then start your 14-day free trial in Wix. Until you start the trial, you can look around your studio but not make changes.

Available in the Wix App Market

Add the booking widget to a page

  1. 1

In the Wix Editor, open the page where clients should book, such as Timetable or Book a class.

  2. 2

Add Junocal booking from Add Elements → App Widgets. In Wix Harmony, it's under Add → Elements → ⋯ → Installed Apps.

  3. 3

Select the widget and open its Settings. Choose what clients see: your full booking page, or just the schedule, courses, class packs, memberships, appointments or your enquiry form. Then choose how many days to show and a light or dark theme.

  4. 4

Publish your site. Open the page on your phone and follow a class to checkout without paying, so you see what clients see.

Plans and billing on Wix

Already use Junocal? Choose I already use Junocal in the Wix dashboard, or open Integrations → Wix in Junocal and select Add to Wix. Your plan and how you pay for it stay as they are. Only the studio owner can connect a Wix site.

Starting in Wix? After the 14-day free trial, Wix charges the card you added for your Junocal plan: Starter is $15, Studio $29 and Growth $69 a month in US dollars, or pay yearly and save about two months. There's no Junocal fee on your bookings.

To change plans, use Change plan in Wix on your Junocal Billing page. Studios billed through Wix choose Starter, Studio or Growth.

If you remove the app from your Wix site, your plan keeps running until the end of the period Wix has billed. After that, billing moves to Junocal, where you can subscribe or move to the Free plan.

Prefer to paste code instead

You can also add Junocal without the app. In Junocal, open Booking page → Embed, choose what to show and copy the code. In the Wix Editor, add an Embed HTML element, paste the code and save.

Wix shows pasted code inside a box with a fixed size, so set the box in both the desktop and mobile editors and check nothing is cut off. With the app, you change what the widget shows from its Settings instead of copying new code.

Troubleshooting

Start with the symptom that matches what you can see. Check the existing record before repeating a booking, payment or import.

The widget still shows the sample schedule

Check these first

  • Open the Junocal page in your Wix dashboard and check it shows your studio's plan.

  • If it still offers Create your studio and I already use Junocal, the site isn't connected yet.

Next step: Finish connecting from the Junocal page in your Wix dashboard, then refresh your published site to see your timetable.

Junocal says the site is already connected to another studio

Check these first

  • Check which Junocal account you signed in to in the junocal.com window.

  • A Wix site shows one Junocal studio at a time.

Next step: Sign in as the owner of the studio already connected to this site. To show a different studio on it, contact Junocal support.

Add to Wix doesn't appear in Junocal

Check these first

  • Check you're signed in as the studio owner. Other team members see a note that only the owner can add Junocal to Wix.

  • Check you opened Integrations → Wix, not Booking page → Embed.

Next step: Sign in as the studio owner and open Integrations → Wix, or ask the owner to add the app from the Wix App Market.

Pasted code in an Embed HTML element is cut off or leaves a gap

Check these first

  • Check the box size in both the desktop and mobile Wix editors.

  • Check you pasted the whole code from Booking page → Embed, including the last line.

Next step: Resize the box in both editors and publish again, or swap the Embed HTML element for the Junocal booking widget from the Wix App Market.

Answers before you get stuck

Is there a Junocal app for Wix?

Yes. Add Junocal from the Wix App Market, then place the Junocal booking widget on any page in the Wix Editor and choose what it shows in its Settings.

Do I pay for Junocal through Wix?

If your studio starts in Wix, yes: after a 14-day free trial, Wix charges the card you added for your Junocal plan. If you already use Junocal, adding it to Wix doesn't change your plan or how you pay for it.

Does Junocal take a percentage of bookings made on my Wix site?

Not on Starter, Studio or Growth. Clients pay you through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates. Junocal's Free plan has a 4% fee on payments instead of a monthly price, and it isn't offered to studios billed through Wix.

Can I show only my class schedule on Wix?

Yes. Select the Junocal booking widget, open its Settings and choose Schedule. You can also show only courses, class packs, memberships, appointments or your enquiry form.
