What is a gym booking system?+
A gym booking system lets members reserve classes and sessions online, caps each class at its real capacity, and runs the front desk on the day — check-in, the day-of roster, and waitlists when a class fills. Junocal also sells recurring memberships and drop-in packs, takes payment on your own Stripe, and sends automated reminders. It starts at $15 a month on the Starter plan, with no annual contract.
Can members book from their phone without downloading anything?+
Yes. Your gym gets a public booking page that members open from any phone browser — there is nothing to download and no app to install. They see the timetable, pick an open spot, pay, and get a confirmation and a 24-hour reminder by email. Every plan from $15 a month includes the booking page and the automated emails.
Can I use my own Stripe account to take payments?+
Yes. Junocal connects to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect Standard, so membership dues, pack purchases, and drop-in payments land directly in your account. You pay Stripe's published card, ACH (US), and Direct Debit rates with no Junocal markup, no per-member fee, and no marketplace commission. Card updates and failed-payment recovery are included from the $15 Starter plan.
What does a gym booking system cost with Junocal?+
Junocal starts at $15 a month on Starter, which covers one location, up to 10 rooms, and up to 5 instructor seats. The Studio plan at $29 a month adds up to 5 locations, unlimited rooms and instructor seats, staff logins, a front-desk role, broadcasts, and a substitute pool. The Growth plan at $69 a month supports up to 10 locations plus QuickBooks. Prices are the same number in USD, GBP, and EUR, with no annual contract.
Does Junocal handle memberships, packs, and waitlists for a gym?+
Yes — all three are included from the $15 Starter plan. Recurring memberships renew automatically, drop-in packs of 5 or 10 deduct as members book, and two-mode waitlists either auto-book the next person when a spot opens with notice or alert everyone for last-minute openings. You can also run pick-a-spot booking so members claim a specific bike, rig, or floor position when they reserve.
