Music lesson booking software should make private availability, fixed-term enrolment, payment and the teaching schedule visible in one place. Students see what is genuinely bookable; teachers see exactly what has been sold and paid for.

Junocal covers one-off private appointments, fixed dated lesson blocks, group classes, confirmations and direct Stripe payments from $15 a month. It does not currently automate an open-ended standing private slot, duet appointment capacity or private-lesson pack redemption. Those are important limits to test before moving.

Publish a fixed term of dated lessons and take one payment for the block. Packs and memberships remain available for eligible group classes rather than private appointment credit.

Private and group formats on one schedule

One-to-one appointments, capacity-one terms, group classes and ensembles appear on the operator schedule. Appointment checkout captures contact details and notes; wider client intake can collect additional teaching information.

Parent payments on your own Stripe

Payments go through your own Stripe Connect Standard account. Available methods and processing rates depend on that account and region; Junocal adds no processing markup or marketplace commission.

Reminders that cut no-shows

Booking confirmations send automatically. Class reminders, welcome emails and win-back campaigns reduce routine follow-up, while recurring-membership recovery handles failed renewal payments.

Group waitlists and day-of roster

Capacity-based classes can use two waitlist modes. On lesson day, staff see the roster and check students in from a phone browser. Private appointment cancellations do not use the class waitlist.

Questions

Can students book recurring weekly music lessons?

Junocal does not currently create an open-ended repeating private appointment. A teacher can publish a fixed dated term as a capacity-one course so one enrolment holds the full lesson block, while one-off and make-up lessons use appointment availability. If permanent standing-slot automation is essential, Junocal is not yet the right fit.

Can parents pay for a whole term of lessons at once?

Yes. Term-based courses let you publish a fixed block of dated lessons and take a single payment for the whole term. The registration contact can enrol a named student and pay through your connected Stripe account. Class packs and memberships can cover eligible group classes, but they do not currently redeem against private appointment services.

Does Junocal handle 1:1 lessons as well as group classes?

Yes. One-to-one lessons use appointment availability and fixed private lesson blocks can use a capacity-one term course. Group classes and ensembles use the class timetable. Duet capacity inside an appointment and private-appointment pack redemption are not currently available.

How do reminders and rescheduling work for music lessons?

Junocal sends booking confirmations and supports automated class reminders, welcome and win-back emails. Customers can manage supported bookings through their secure link. Class waitlists apply to capacity-based group sessions; they do not automatically refill a cancelled private appointment.

What does music lesson booking software cost with Junocal?

Junocal starts at $15 a month on the Starter plan ($150 a year), which covers one location, up to 10 rooms and up to 5 instructor seats. The Studio plan is $29 a month for teaching schools that need staff logins, a front-desk role, broadcasts and a substitute teacher pool across up to 5 locations.
