built for private reformer teachers

Booking and payment software for solo reformer Pilates instructors

You teach 1:1 and duets. You rent space at a host studio or run a home studio. You do not need a studio platform with marketplace fees, and you do not need to fight Acuity's intake form every time a new client books.

what changes when it fits

Built for your specific shape

Appointments for 1:1, duets, and trios

Per-service deposit policy. Custom durations (45-minute privates next to 60-minute duets). Equipment requirements per service, so a Cadillac session doesn't get scheduled into a reformer slot. Configurable cancellation policies that enforce themselves.

Intake that knows reformer

R/L body-part capture for injury history. Surgery section with dates. Pregnancy and postnatal screening that surfaces only when relevant. E-signature waiver. Re-attestation at 12 months. The form clients fill before their first booking, not after the fact.

Your own Stripe, no commission

Stripe Connect Standard means the merchant account is yours from day one. Funds settle directly to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule. Junocal never holds your money. No marketplace fees, no bundled-processing markup, no surprises at renewal.

who this fits

Who Junocal is built for here

Built for the solo reformer teacher running 4 to 15 private and duet sessions a week. The shape is consistent: $80 to $150 per session in US cities, £50 to £100 in UK ones. You might rent time at a host studio three afternoons a week, you may have converted the garage at home, you might split your week between both. The current tooling is usually some mix of Acuity (whose intake has no conditional logic for reformer injuries), Calendly (no deposits, no packs), WhatsApp plus Google Calendar (no payment, no automation, looks unprofessional at your price point), or your host studio's Mindbody account (not yours, can't take with you). Junocal Starter at $39/month replaces all of it without forcing a studio-sized workflow on a one-person business.

how it plays out

Three real moments

Specific operational scenarios this studio shape runs into, and what Junocal does for each.

You rent space at another studio three afternoons a week

You don't own the room, but your clients are yours. Junocal gives you a booking page at your own URL (junocal.com/yourstudio), takes deposits to your own Stripe, and runs intake and reminders without touching the host studio's software. When your rental arrangement changes, your clients and history come with you.

A client cancels two hours before her Tuesday duet

Junocal charges the late-cancel fee against the card on file, applying the policy you set once at the service level. The duet partner gets an SMS letting her know the session is now a private (or, if you've set it that way, the session reschedules). You don't send a chase email and you don't justify the fee. The policy was in the booking confirmation she agreed to.

A new client books her first session

She picks a slot. She pays the deposit. The intake form opens with conditional logic that surfaces the right follow-ups based on her answers. She signs the waiver. She gets a confirmation with the address, the parking note, and the cancellation policy. You see her completed intake before she walks in.

the things we get asked

Questions

Can I use Junocal if I teach at someone else's studio?

Yes. Junocal is a software account that belongs to you, not to the studio you rent space from. Your clients book on your branded page (junocal.com/yourstudio), pay into your Stripe, and complete your intake. The host studio's software is unaffected. If you change rental arrangements, your client list and booking history come with you.

How do deposits and no-show fees work for private sessions?

Per service. Set a deposit amount for each service (for example, $40 for a 60-minute reformer private, $25 for a 30-minute mat session). Junocal charges the deposit at booking and applies it against the session total. Late-cancel and no-show fees are configured per service too. When the policy triggers, Junocal charges the card automatically. The client agreed to the policy at the moment of booking.

Does the intake form understand reformer-specific injuries?

The intake builder includes R/L body-part capture (so 'left shoulder' isn't lumped in with 'right shoulder'), conditional follow-ups for specific injuries, a surgery section with dates, and a pregnancy section that only surfaces when relevant. You can tailor the form for reformer in a few minutes, then attach it to every reformer service. The form re-prompts after 12 months for re-attestation.

Is this worth it for a teacher with 10 clients?

The no-show math alone makes the case: one no-show every two weeks at $100 a session is $2,600 a year that Junocal's automatic late-cancel fee charging recovers without you sending a single chase email. The conditional-logic intake adds the second half — a real form with a signed waiver attached is what your insurer will ask about after the first incident, and rebuilding that on a generic appointment app is a tax you pay forever. For 10 clients today and the practice you're growing into, Junocal Starter at $39 earns its keep within the first quarter.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You export it. One-click CSV of clients, bookings, payments, and intake responses. The export is free, available at any time during your subscription, and remains available for 30 days after cancellation. Junocal does not lock you in. Data portability is a feature, not a stalling tactic.
